What is MAX+
The “M” in MAX stands for Media.
MAX+ is a large computer repository & database for the storage, organization and internal distribution of Compassion’s media assets (photos, video, stories, art files, videos, split-track videos, etc).
What MAX+ isn’t
MAX+ is not for the storage of corporate documents or intra-departmental communications, the storage of Child Sponsorship photos, nor media assets that are not shareable among all Compassion offices.
MAX+ is for Media.
Media in MAX+
All media assets in MAX+ have these in common:
- Can be used (and reused) by any Compassion office, department or team
- Meets Compassion’s dignity standards (see http://gc.ci.org/field-communications/Field Comm Wiki/Dignity guidelines.aspx)
- Meets Global Program’s PFM standards for quality (see http://iweb.ci.org/about_us/manuals/SmallSearchablePFM.pdf section 7.3.3.1 and 7.3.3.2)
- Compassion owns the Copyright or has the appropriate Licensing in writing
- Compassion children are identified by Name, Child Number or Project Number
All new assets added to MAX+ must meet the above criteria.
If an asset does not meet the criteria, it will be removed from MAX+.

Should I upload it to MAX+?
Think like the supporter.
We are a Christian ministry
that works in developing countries
with children in poverty.
If a media asset does not relate to that, do not upload it to MAX+!
